KM Recruitment is seeking a Residential Childcare Assessor/Trainer, either Trainee or Qualified, for a home/field-based role covering London and surrounding areas.
The position offers a salary range of £30,000 - £37,000, depending on qualifications and experience, with an excellent bonus scheme that can add up to an additional £10,000 OTE.
Candidates should have strong occupational competency at Team Leader level or above within a Residential Childcare setting and must hold at least a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare.
Full training and support will be provided for Trainee candidates to achieve the necessary Teaching/Assessing qualification, and a full clean UK driving license is required.
Duties include assessing and supporting learners towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships, providing Functional Skills support, and managing documentation on learner progress.

Hold strong, occupational competency at Team Leader level or above within a Residential Childcare setting.
Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
