This is a fantastic opportunity for a SEND Teacher to join an 'Outstanding’ SEND school in the Enfield. This role is to start immediately on a full-time basis with an opportunity to become permanent.

  • Teaching SEND children and young people with Autism/ASC, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • Primary and Secondary aged children

  • Fully qualified mainstream primary and secondary teachers with an interest in moving into a SEND school are encouraged to apply

Ideal candidate

The successful SEND Teacher must have QTS or QTLS and have experience of teaching SEND pupils, particularly with ASC/Autism and SLD/PMLD. Many pupils have Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN) and will use alternative communication methods such as Makaton and PECs. You will be teaching whole class lessons, working with small groups and supporting pupils individually. Due to the nature of the students, a patient, caring, compassionate and flexible approach is needed. Fully qualified mainstream teachers with an interest in moving into SEND are also encouraged to apply.
