Location: EnfieldContract: Temporary, Sick CoverHours: 35 hours a week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid and medical support to students throughout the school day.
- Maintain accurate records of student illnesses, injuries, and medication.
- Support the school's medical policies and procedures, ensuring all health and safety regulations are met.
- Assist with the administration of prescribed medication and medical equipment as needed.
- Serve as the point of contact for parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student medical needs.
- Help with the general welfare and emotional support of students when necessary.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a medical welfare or first aid role (within a school setting is a plus).
- A valid first aid certificate (training can be provided if needed).
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures is desirable.
