Are you a HLTA with experience supporting students with SEN such as speech and language? We are currently looking for a higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in a highly regarded Secondary School for students aged 11-18.

The role

The role is for a HLTA or SEND Teacher to teach small groups of students in their speech and language resource base. There are 10 students in the base who have an EHCP with a primary need of Developmental Language Disorder. The role is to teach students English (KS2 skills), numeracy (KS2 skills) and life skills in small groups of 3-5 students. You must be available to support with any pastoral issues. 

The School

As a HLTA or SEN Techer you will be the main class teacher. You will have a comprehensive knowledge, understanding and experience of working with children with Developmental language Disorder and Autistic Spectrum Disorder from previous roles and have a true passion for supporting pupils to succeed in all areas of learning.

There is an experienced team of teachers and support staff within the provision and you will have access to a range of training and collaboration to develop your teaching practice. You will also be supported by external agencies within Enfield.
