Responsibilities:

• Designing and delivering engaging media studies lessons that captivate students' interests
• Introducing students to various media forms, theories, and production techniques
• Encouraging students to think critically about media representations and influences
• Guiding students in hands-on media projects, such as creating films, podcasts, and multimedia presentations
• Inspiring a love for media and its impact on society while promoting ethical media practices
• Monitoring and evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback
• Collaborating with other faculty members to integrate media studies across the curriculum.

Requirements:

• A degree in Media Studies or a related field
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• A genuine passion for media and its transformative power
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Up-to-date knowledge of media trends and technologies
