We are on the hunt for an experienced fitter to join our team and be responsible for inspecting machinery and undertake servicing and maintenance of our product range.
Here are some of the things you can expect to do:
- Service and maintenance of all company plant & machinery assets.
- Ensure timely repairs to minimise downtime.
- Dismantling and repairing or replacing fault components.
- Defect inspections and diagnostic reporting.
- Keeping the workshop clean and tidy.
- This list isn't exhaustive, and you may be called upon for additional duties as needed.
We invite you to apply if...
You hold an NVQ Level 2, City & Guilds qualification, or equivalent, and have previous experience in plant maintenance, diagnosing and repairing plant, construction equipment and lifting equipment.
Along with the ability to excel under pressure and meet tight deadlines you can work under your own initiative and have strong organisational skills.
Manufacturer training for industry products would be an advantage and if you have your IPAF 3a, 3b or 1b certification that would be great too, but dont worry if you havent as we can put you through training for this.
