My client, a leading manufacturing company based in Enfield are looking to recruit a Paint Sprayer on a full time, permanent basis

We are looking to fill this full time vacancy with a person who has experience in a spray booth/shop environment within a manufacturing / engineering environment.

The person, working as part of a small team, should have a flexible attitude towards work duties and will include general small component (mainly plastics) spraying using single or multi-pack paints, application by spray guns and air brushes along with component preparation.

The applicant should be self-motivated, reliable and able to work using their own initiative.  Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, data sheets and process specifications is a requirement of the position and computer literacy is desirable.

The work is of a light nature, as mainly small plastics components and low batch quantities.

Flexibility of nature of work is essential, as duties are extremely varied.

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience in paint spraying of small components ideally along with airbrush experience.
  • Knowledge of paint mixing and component pre-preparation.
  • Good verbal and communications skills
  • Very good attention to detail.
  • Be flexible in work duties as cover may be required in other departments.
  • Working to strict standards and time parameters with a can-do attitude.
  • Work to and adhere to Health and safety within the department.

Hours of work are 07.30 – 16.15 Monday to Thursday and 07.30 – 13.30 on Fridays covering a total of 39 hours per week.
