We are working with a prestigious Water Treatment / Water Hygiene client with a strong presence across the London / South East area who are currently recruiting in the South East for a Water Treatment Account Manager. The successful candidate will have experience working for an established Water Treatment / Water Hygiene management company within an Account Manager role. You will be managing steam boiler, cooling tower, and closed system accounts for longstanding Food & Beverage and Heavy Industry clients. Our client can offer a generous holiday allowance, electric / hybrid vehicle, generous commission structure.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Watford, St Albans, Harlow, Bishop's Stortford, Brentwood, Chelmsford, Maldon, Braintree, Saffron Walden, Basildon, Dartford, Gravesend, Tonbridge, Minehead, Croydon, Epsom, Bromley, Orpington, Rainham, Chatham.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have experience working within the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene Industry working as a Water Treatment Account Manager.
" Will have previous experience working within an account management role and will have excellent management and leadership skills.
" In-depth knowledge of steam boiler, cooling tower, closed systems and water chemistry.
" Well versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Excellent communication skills via phone, email, face to face.
" Organising workload in line with company and client needs.
The Role:
" Proactively managing and developing a portfolio of steam boiler, cooling tower, and closed system accounts for a mixed range of clients.
" Securing new accounts through referrals and identifying commercial opportunities.
" Ensuring that KPIs and targets are being met.
" Upselling and promoting company services to both new and existing clients.
" Overseeing a team of engineers, organising and / or providing training where required.
" Working closely with the sales team to ensure projects are running to budget.
" Attending site to ensure work is being carried out in line with company / client needs.
" Acting as first point of contact for clients, dealing with any issues in a timely manner.
" Attending meetings, ensuring to present the company in a professional manner.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
