The primary role of the Maintenance Manager is to lead the site maintenance program, ensuring that all site assets, including manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facilities, comply with specific site and legislative requirements.

Description

This role emphasizes providing technical expertise for quick problem resolution to maintain customer service, safety, and quality standards.

A key responsibility is contributing to the development of the European Supply Chain Maintenance Strategy and executing the Maintenance Plan for complex beverage manufacturing lines. This ensures all asset care schedules are met, assets are available for use, and accurate reporting is maintained to drive efficiency improvements.

You will work with site leaders and technical staff to evaluate the maintenance plan's effectiveness and identify necessary technical training to enhance site performance.

Identify opportunities to enhance line utilization and machine reliability through the maintenance plan and continuous improvement (CI) projects. Offer advice and guidance to the site, promoting the sharing and replication of best practices among teams.

Collaborate with the Operational Excellence teams on key projects to boost site performance and support significant company improvement initiatives, including technical projects that involve budgetary and CAPEX experience.

Plan and prepare asset care interventions to achieve "best in class" status, focusing on quality and speed during both execution and line recovery from maintenance.

Profile

  • 7+ years of leading Maintenance/Engineering teams within FMCG Manufacturing.
  • Demonstrate the ability to drive improvements in asset care systems and mechanical efficiencies.
  • Exhibit strong budget management skills with the ability to identify and justify key investment areas.
  • Challenge the status quo with a proven track record in driving key KPIs.
  • Possess strong people management and communication skills.
  • Perform well under high levels of pressure.
  • Make sound, timely decisions while keeping the bigger picture and long-term objectives in mind.
