We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our clients team in Enfield. The Single Point of Access team urgently manages a growing number of OT cases, particularly involving moving and handling, to mitigate risks for both clients and the service.
Key responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritise urgent referrals, ensuring timely intervention for individuals requiring immediate OT support, particularly in cases involving complex moving and handling needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical and functional needs, focusing on safety, mobility, and independence within their home environments.
- Create personalised care plans that address the specific moving and handling requirements of clients, including the selection and recommendation of appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Identify potential risks associated with delayed intervention and take proactive steps to mitigate these risks for both clients and the service.
Requirements:
- Must have at least Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent and have HCPC registration.
