The OT role focusses on functional daily living skills, establishing structured routines, which may include education and / or work and managing specific mental health and risk issues. The OT process includes the assessment, goal and intervention planning and ongoing review of occupational needs. All interventions, either 1:1 or groups are devised around the needs of individuals and aim to support service users on their journey of recovery, quality of life, and community integration.
