Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist for a community-based role at NELFT. The successful candidate will work across diverse community settings, providing individualized care and empowering patients to achieve greater independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy interventions for patients in the community.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate rehabilitation and recovery.
  • Develop and implement tailored care plans to address patient needs.
  • Provide advice and education to patients, families, and carers.
  • Manage a caseload, ensuring timely and effective interventions.

Key Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven experience in community-based occupational therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience managing complex caseloads is desirable.
