The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
- Work 1:1 and in small groups to support students with behavioural challenges.
- Assist in promoting positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
- Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams to implement behaviour management strategies.
- Act as a role model, fostering confidence and resilience in students.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people, particularly those with behavioural or emotional difficulties.
- Is patient, empathetic, and resilient with strong interpersonal skills.
- Can remain calm under pressure and adapt to different situations.
- Has knowledge of behaviour management techniques (preferred but not essential).
Experience in education, youth work, or SEN settings is highly desirable.
