Domestic and Laundry Assistant

Purpose of the Role: The Domestic and Laundry Assistant will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents at in Enfield Council. This includes performing a variety of domestic and laundry tasks to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all laundry is collected, washed, dried, and returned to residents in a timely manner.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry facilities and equipment.

Follow infection control procedures and health and safety guidelines at all times.

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with other domestic tasks as required, such as making beds and replenishing supplies.

Provide a friendly and supportive service to residents, respecting their privacy and dignity.

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
