The role is to start in April until July, with the option of extension from September 2025.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

The school is an Ofsted rated "Good" school in Enfield that caters for students aged 4 to 11 years old with complex learning difficulties including Autism and other sensory impairments.

The school has specialist facilities to meet the unique needs of the students and recently underwent extensive refurbishments to provide provide additional facilities to enhance the learning and development of our pupils. Each department has dedicated facilities (including sport, music, art, cooking and science), as well as sensory rooms.

The school offers various therapies to students, and employs an incredibly dedicated team of special needs teachers and professionals to ensure all students and staff have all they need to reach their potential.

  • Will hold QTS
  • Will be experienced special needs teacher or be quick to learn if not experienced with special needs and coming from a mainstream environment
  • Will be able to support children positively in all situations
  • Will encourage independence
  • Will be able to deliver practical, creative and engaging lessons that facilitate independence
  • Will be adaptable, caring and patient
  • Will have a passion for supporting inclusion and equality in education
