Payroll & Human Resources Specialist

Enfield- Office Based

Up to £45,000 per annum

Payroll & HR Specialist to manage our payroll processes and support our HR functions, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with UK regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

?? Payroll Management - Process payroll accurately and on time, handling salaries, bonuses, and statutory deductions.?? Compliance & Reporting - Stay up to date with UK payroll laws, submit reports to HMRC, and ensure GDPR compliance.?? HR Administration - Maintain employee records, support on boarding/off boarding, and manage HR systems.?? Employee Relations - Act as the first point of contact for payroll and HR queries, ensuring a positive employee experience.?? Benefits & Policies - Administrator pensions, salary sacrifice schemes, and assist in reviewing HR policies.?? Stay up-to-date with UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, NIC, pensions (Auto Enrolment), and statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and SPP. Submit accurate reports to HMRC, such as RTI submissions, P60s, P45s, and P11Ds.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience with Sage, Pay Circle, Opera 3
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HR best practices
  • Experience with payroll & HR systems (e.g., People HR or similar).
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • CIPD Level 3 (or higher) and 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
