We are specialists within the Water Hygiene / Legionella Management industry, and we are working closely with a renowned and professional provider of Water Hygiene / Legionella services who are now seeking to take on a Plumber / Remedial Engineer in the South East region. You will be working independently, covering Commercial, Local Authority and Industrial sites, undertaking deadleg removals and the removal, rerouting and installing copper / PVC pipe work alongside CWST refurbishment and installations in line with client requirements. Our client is offering the successful candidate a competitive basic salary, company vehicle and opportunities for overtime.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Cheshunt, Epping, Hertford, Welwyn Garden City, Watford, St Albans, Wembley, Harrow, Harpenden, Luton, Bishop's Stortford, Chigwell, Romford, Ilford, Barking, Dagenham, Rainham, Hornchurch, Grays, Tilbury, Erith, Dartford, Bexleyheath, Sidcup, Orpington, Bromley.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold industry recognised qualifications e.g. City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in plumbing.
" Experience working within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry working hands on as a Plumber / Remedial Engineer.
" Able to communicate well with colleagues and clients of all levels.
" Good IT skills.
" Well versed in up-to-date HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
The Role:
" Attending a varied portfolio of sites, carrying out deadleag removals.
" Undertaking removals, installing, and rerouting of PVC / copper pipework.
" Finding faults on site, diagnosing any issues efficiently and ensuring they are rectified in a timely manner.
" Carrying out the refurbishment and installation of CWST's.
" Servicing and installing TMVs.
" Completing checks on plumbing work and signing off upon completion.
" Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical advice and support.
