Key Responsibilities:
- Review and Sign-Off: Oversee all raw ingredient specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Provisional Specifications: Develop detailed provisional specifications for new product presentations to customers.
- Finished Product Specifications: Complete full finished product specifications, tailored to customer formats or web-based systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the NPD Department to meet specification requirements.
- Customer and Internal Queries: Address specification-related queries from customers and within the technical department.
- Technical Meetings: Participate in technical meetings and reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
- Specification Amendments: Update and amend finished product specifications as per customer review policies.
- Internal Audits: Assist with site internal audits using BRCGS FS standards.
- Supporting Activities: Engage in additional technical department tasks as required.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency with various web-based specification systems.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication skills to handle customer and internal queries.
- Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
- 20 days of annual leave (1st May to 30th April), with 5 days reserved for the Christmas/New Year period when the business is closed.
Monday-Friday 08:00 - 17:00hrs
