In this role, you’ll step in to cover short-term absences, delivering engaging lessons and supporting students of all ages and abilities. You'll have the chance to work in diverse school environments, ensuring a positive and effective learning experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and policies.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Support students of all abilities to stay on task and engage with their learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and report back to the class teacher or school leadership team.
  • Adapt lessons to suit the specific needs of students, ensuring inclusion for all.
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and school leadership.
  • Promote a positive classroom culture and support students with their social, emotional, and academic development.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching across primary age groups is desirable.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to step into different schools and classrooms.
  • Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to build rapport with students quickly.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and supporting students to achieve their best.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative while adhering to school policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with school staff and students.
