We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Production Manager/Workshop Controller to join our Enfield team!

This workshop controller/production manager role is a crucial part of the team and requires experience in an accident repair environment.

Job Details

  • To inspect damaged vehicles and assess the full extent of the damage sustained.
  • Forecast time scales.
  • Organise the bodyshop by controlling job start and finishing times and to be aware of the status of each job at all times, conducting daily progress meetings with bodyshop team members and reporting unexpected delays to the Site Manager
  • Ensure all the body shop tools and equipment are in good working order.
  • Control all waste materials.
  • Have overall responsibility for the security of the building and the equipment within it.
  • Ensure all job cards are completed correctly and be ultimately responsible for shop floor discipline.
  • To liaise with all bodyshop technicians and the Site Manager in respect of any quality issues.

Job Experience:

  • Experience working as a Bodyshop Production Manager, Workshop Controller or Workshop Manager within an accident repair centre.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry / Accident repair industry.
  • Previous experience leading people.
