The Role

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

  • Work 1:1 and in small groups to support students with behavioural challenges.
  • Assist in promoting positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams to implement behaviour management strategies.
  • Act as a role model, fostering confidence and resilience in students.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children or young people, particularly those with behavioural or emotional difficulties.
  • Is patient, empathetic, and resilient with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Can remain calm under pressure and adapt to different situations.
  • Has knowledge of behaviour management techniques (preferred but not essential).

Experience in education, youth work, or SEN settings is highly desirable.
