Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join a dynamic team based in Enfield.
As the successful Quality Manager, your main function is to ensure that all quality requirements are meet at all stages of production for defined shift periods and to ensure that the Quality Objectives and Policy of the company is communicated to all employees. The Quality Management System is accredited to IATF16949:2016 and must be maintained in accordance with the IATF16949 Standard.
The company is Accredited to the TS16949 Quality Management System and you must be proficient / competent in both the TS16949 & ISO14001.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure all inspection procedures and all moulded products conform to customer specifications at each stage of the production process.
- To ensure that quality requirements are meet at each stage of the production process from APQP to Final Approval.
- To be able to generate PPAP reports to Levels 1,2 and 3, Cap studies and ISIRs.
- To have a full understanding of the TS16949 Quality Standard and be able to operate, maintain and review the quality system to the requirements of the standard.
- To develop various test methods in accordance with customer requirements.
- To set out training programs, train and develop all Quality personnel under your control.
- To generate related KPI reports on a monthly basis directly related to the Quality Assurance Department.
- To interface with all component Suppliers to ensure that all components used in the day-to-day manufacturing conform to control plans laid down by PEP.
- To carryout APQP Planning on all new products introduced to the company.
- To interface with Customers Program Managers on all aspects of PPAP submissions.
- To participate in Management meetings when required.
- To be able to carryout Internal Audits to set schedules in accordance to TS16949 & IS0 14001.
- To ensure that all personnel are fully informed on SPC requirements and control plans for new product launches.
- To conform to all the Company rules and regulations laid out in the Employee handbook.
- To liaise with Customers on all quality concerns raised and deal with all returns and complaints using the approved 8-D approach for all customers.
- To interface with customers when site visits are made to the company and also make site visits to customers premises when required.
- A proficient understanding of the Environmental Standard ISO 14001.

- 40 hours per week
- 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
