THIS ROLE REQUIRES A DRIVING LICENSE AND ACCESS TO A CAR

Do you have experience as a Debt Recovery Officer? Have you previously prepared cases for court and attended court where necessary? I'm excited to recruit for my client who are looking for someone to join the Income Recovery team, providing an effective Rent Arrears service. The team are looking for an experience employee to join and bring a strong knowledge and a wealth of experience to an already strong team.

Main duties:

  • To be responsible for visiting and interviewing tenants and their representatives.
  • Control and monitoring of rent arrears ensuring that targets and timescales are met.
  • Preparing legal action including the preparation and issue of NOSPS and preparation of papers for the Court Officer.
  • Undertaking pre-eviction interviews preparing eviction authorisation reports and applying to the county court for eviction warrants.
  • Represent the council at evictions and ensure the successful repossession of properties.
