A receptionist is needed for a special educational needs (SEN) secondary school in North London.
As a receptionist, you will joining a supportive and dedicated team to effectively manage the day-to-day front of house of the school.
This school is easily accessible from around London, with excellent transport links.
Responsibilities as a receptionist include:
- Providing a welcoming school reception during the day and maintaining a positive impression of the school.
- Performing reception duties, such as answering the phone, handling enquiries and logging student attendance.
- Signing in visitors ensuring they comply with safeguarding regulations.
- Maintaining information on the school website, updating with news and social media.
- Completing administration tasks, such as receiving telephone calls, making appointments etc.
Requirements to be a receptionist:
- Educated to GCSE level or above.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Administration experience, preferably using SIMS.
