My client has been awarded the contract to maintain Surrey Highways for the next 20 years plus.
They are seeking dedicated and skilled Traffic Management Operatives to deliver the contract. Working in Surrey this role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and functionality of our highways and roadways. The ideal candidate will have experience in traffic management, demonstrating a proactive approach to maintaining and improving road conditions. As well as relevant industry qualifications such as NHSS 12AB or NHSS 12D or TTMBC
As a Traffic Management Operative, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management on roads in/around the community. You will be tasked with small to medium size projects to deliver.
Tasks will involve multiple types of work from vehicle crossovers, street furniture installation, resurfacing and many more.
Distributing cones, signs, frames, and sandbags where needed
Participate in planned and emergency road closures
Carry out supervision and control of contractors working on the network
Hours are 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday and there are opportunities for overtime.
