Role Overview:As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5. You will inspire students with your passion for the visual arts, encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver dynamic Art lessons that cater to a range of abilities and inspire a passion for creativity.
• Teach Key Stage 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5 Art, ensuring that all students achieve their best outcomes.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated and supported.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
• Foster students' skills in various artistic techniques and media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
• Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum and department resources.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, including school exhibitions and Art clubs, to further enhance the student experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Art department and across the school to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to teaching.
• Engage with parents and carers to support student progress and development.

Who We're Looking For:

• A qualified Art teacher with experience teaching at secondary level (Key Stage 3 and 4; Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential).
• A strong passion for the Arts and the ability to inspire students with diverse creative backgrounds.
• Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to providing a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
• A proactive and adaptable mindset with a focus on continuous professional development.
