Prospero Teaching is actively seeking a committed and innovative Design & Technology (DT) Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in North London (N15) starting in January 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic DT teacher to inspire students and bring creativity to the classroom.

Position: Design & Technology (DT) Teacher Start Date: January 2024 Salary Range: M1 - M6 on the teacher pay scale (dependent on experience) Contract: Full-time, long-term placement

About the Role:

The successful candidate will:Teach DT across Key Stages 3 and 4, including practical and theory elements. Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons that foster hands-on learning and critical thinking. Support students in developing practical skills, project management, and design understanding. Work collaboratively with the department to maintain high standards and positive student outcomes.

Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology, with specialties in areas such as Product Design, Graphics, Resistant Materials, or Textiles. Excellent communication and classroom management skills Experience in teaching DT is preferred, but NQTs/ECTs are encouraged to apply.
