Position: Geography Teacher
Start Date: January 2024
Salary Range: M1 - M6 on the teacher pay scale (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, long-term placement
About the Role:
The successful candidate will:
Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and dynamic lessons.
Inspire curiosity and a deeper understanding of the world through a broad Geography curriculum.
Contribute to the development of high-quality teaching materials and schemes of work.
Be a positive role model, fostering a culture of respect and enthusiasm for learning.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
Ability to plan and deliver lessons that cater to students of varying abilities
Previous teaching experience is desirable, but NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply
