SEND Teacher
Timeplan Education is recruiting a Qualified Teacher to join a PMLD school in Enfield, North London from December 2024 and until the end of the academic year. The role will be on a full-time basis working in a KS1 class on Monday-Wednesday and KS2 on Thursday and Friday. The school is a lovely 2 form-entry MLD SEND school with a very dynamic and young team or experienced teachers and support staff.
Job Responsibilities
- Comfortable leading interactive lessons
- Responsible for teaching children with PMLD, ASD, ADHD and SEMH
- Ability to engage and support pupils' learning
- Develop therapeutic relationships with pupils
- To promote and support the inclusion of all pupils in learning activities and maximise their achievement
- Strong behaviour managment

Job Requirements
- QTS
- Experience teaching in SEN schools
- Experience working with children with SEN and SEMH
- Able to de-escalate and support emotional regulation
- Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
- Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 12-39 weeks
