Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher? Do you want to deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4 (and possibly KS5), in a dynamic and supportive environment?

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Science educator to join a vibrant school community in Enfield. The school are looking for an individual who can bring energy, creativity, and expertise to the classroom, inspiring students to develop a love for science and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Science lessons that meet the requirements of the national curriculum.
  • Lead exciting lab experiments and demonstrations to bring science concepts to life.
  • Provide tailored one-to-one support, tutoring, and mentoring to help students reach their full potential.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress through assessments, assignments, and exams, providing constructive feedback.
  • Communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues about academic progress and achievements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A collaborative team player with the ability to work closely with colleagues in the Science department.
  • Qualified teachers, including ECTs and experienced QTS professionals, are encouraged to apply.
  • Proven experience teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and possibly KS5).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in an engaging and accessible way.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • A registered teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS/QTLS) for secondary education.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure (subject to checks)
  • A complete employment and education history, including explanations for any employment gaps.
