The role

As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will work closely with teachers, leading whole-class sessions, delivering small-group interventions, and supporting students with diverse learning needs. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and confident teaching assistant who is ready to take the next step in their career

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons and interventions under the guidance of the class teacher.
• Provide cover for teachers when required.
• Support students with varying abilities, including those with special educational needs.
• Assist in assessing and tracking pupil progress.
• Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and productive classroom.

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification (or working towards it) or significant TA experience.
• Strong understanding of the primary/secondary curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A passion for education and supporting children' development.
• Experience in leading groups or whole-class sessions is desirable
