Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Enfield
Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a secondary school in Enfield. This is an exciting opportunity to positively impact education and support students' learning and development in a vibrant school environment. The position is available for an immediate start, offering a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Role Overview: As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a key role in supporting teachers and enhancing the learning experience of students within the secondary school. You will collaborate closely with teaching staff, provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, and help create a positive and engaging learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in delivering dynamic and effective lessons
- Provide focused intervention for students with diverse learning needs
- Lead small group activities and assist in classroom management
- Contribute to planning and preparing educational resources
- Help monitor and assess student progress
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or relevant experience in an educational setting
- Passion for supporting student learning and development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment
