Our client, a global supplier of specialised laboratory equipment, currently require a Field Service Engineer baserd out of Hertfordshire. The role provides a high level of training and would suit a mechanically-minded individual who enjoys being out on the road, interacting with customers and solving problems.
The areas you will be mainly covering include Enfield and North London.
A company car will be provided which is also for personal use outside of working hours, all work related fuel costs will be reimbursed.
Field Service Engineer responsibilities:
- Provide field-based support to customers
- Meet and exceed customer expectations
- Perform Installation, preventative maintenance, validation, and emergency repairs for specialist range of laboratory equipment.
- Liaise with head office and senior engineers to troubleshoot any issues
- Record and report all activity in line with company procedures
The ideal Field service Engineer will possess:
- Minimum HND in Mechanical Engineering, or be able to demonstrate equivalent relevant experience
- Some industry experience, ideally in service, repair or maintenance
- An eagerness to learn new skills
- A positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
