The Role:- Position: Behaviour Mentor.
- Salary: £80-£100 per day, depending on experience.
- Start Date: Immediate.
- Location: Enfield, North London.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work directly with pupils to help them overcome challenges, develop coping strategies, and engage positively with their learning.
Your Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural needs, encouraging positive outcomes.
- Implement behaviour management techniques to promote a calm and productive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and pastoral staff to create individualised support plans.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and mentor.
- Monitor and report on pupil progress, adjusting strategies where necessary.
- A Psychology graduate or someone with relevant experience in mental health, SEN, or education.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff.
- A patient, empathetic approach and a proactive attitude.
- Experience working with children with SEMH, ASD, or challenging behaviour (desirable but not essential).
- A commitment to supporting pupils' personal and academic development.
