The Role:
  • Position: Behaviour Mentor.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work directly with pupils to help them overcome challenges, develop coping strategies, and engage positively with their learning.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural needs, encouraging positive outcomes.
  • Implement behaviour management techniques to promote a calm and productive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and pastoral staff to create individualised support plans.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and mentor.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress, adjusting strategies where necessary.
What We're Looking For:
  • A Psychology graduate or someone with relevant experience in mental health, SEN, or education.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff.
  • A patient, empathetic approach and a proactive attitude.
  • Experience working with children with SEMH, ASD, or challenging behaviour (desirable but not essential).
  • A commitment to supporting pupils' personal and academic development.
