The Role:
  • Position: Behaviour Mentor.
  • Salary: £80-£100 per day, depending on experience.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with children with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs), providing 1:1 support and small group interventions to help them engage with learning.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop positive behaviour management strategies to support pupils with SEMH.
  • Provide structured 1:1 mentoring to help children build confidence and emotional resilience.
  • Assist the teacher in implementing tailored learning plans and interventions.
  • Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment.
  • Monitor progress and adapt strategies to meet pupils' evolving needs.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar role.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting children with additional needs.
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
  • A passion for helping children develop socially and emotionally.
  • Psychology graduates or those with a background in youth work are encouraged to apply.
