We are looking for a Pastoral Assistant to work with and develop students, academically, socially and morally to have increased success in the mainstream classroom environment. An inclusive PRU in Enfield are seeking a dedicated Learning Pastoral Assistant to work across multiple subjects, enhancing learning and fostering positive behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support across various subjects.
• Deliver tailored interventions to promote positive behaviour and engagement.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt learning materials to meet the needs of individual students.
• Build trusting relationships with students to encourage academic and emotional development.
• Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and developing resilience.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience working with students with behavioural challenges or in alternative provisions is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a calm and patient approach.
• A commitment to inclusive education and fostering student growth.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and varied learning environment.
