We are seeking a Resettlement Coordinator to join a local authority team in Enfield. This role is crucial for working with vulnerable single people experiencing homelessness, particularly those released from prison or discharged from hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing homelessness cases and working with vulnerable clients.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assess and make decisions on homelessness cases, applying necessary tests and criteria.
  • Work directly with vulnerable individuals, providing support and coordination to facilitate their resettlement.
  • Regularly attend the office and work from locations such as North Middlesex Hospital to meet with clients and healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to support client needs.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of interactions, assessments, and outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in homelessness services, with a focus on case management and client support.
  • Proven ability to assess homelessness tests and make informed decisions.
  • Experience working with vulnerable customers, ideally in settings involving health and social care.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working compassionately with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Ability to travel within Enfield, particularly to hospitals, as required.
