Join the London Borough of Enfield’s Street Homelessness Service as a Rough Sleeper Outreach Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead efforts in reducing rough sleeping and ending homelessness in Enfield. We are transforming our homelessness service to improve prevention, reduce temporary accommodation, and end street homelessness through innovative and data-driven approaches. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support and guide officers in efforts to reduce rough sleeping in Enfield.
  • Engage directly with individuals who are homeless, have complex needs, and are either currently street homeless or at risk of becoming street homeless.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external agencies to provide comprehensive and effective support.
  • Implement strategies and manage a team dedicated to achieving sustainable housing outcomes and ending rough sleeping in the area.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong passion for working with vulnerable populations, coupled with a resilient and proactive “can do” attitude.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a small team, preferably within a similar outreach or social service setting.
  • Excellent communication and data reporting skills.
  • Prior experience in managing an outreach team is highly beneficial.
  • A deep commitment to and understanding of the complexities associated with homelessness and rough sleeping.
