Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for an Advanced Practitioner within the Looked After Children Team to work Full Time for based in Enfield.

The salary for this permanent Advanced Practitioner job is up to £55,692 per annum.Main duties:

  • Provide a casework service to the most vulnerable looked after children which will include a significant level of complex court work.
  • Develop and deliver projects which further the knowledge of the service and/or improve outcomes for individual children and young people.
  • Work with the team managers on performance improvements strategies, improving compliance with national legislative requirements and local policies.
  • Mentor and support less experienced members of the social care workforce to build the skills and knowledge of the whole service.
  • Provide specialist permanency planning input into complex cases held by other social workers.
  • Assist in managing the daily duty team on behalf of the service.
  • Eepresent the service in external multi-agency partnerships.
  • Any other duties reasonably requested by management.
  • Carry out all accountabilities in compliance with the Council’s Policies and Procedures.

Requirements of this Advanced Practitioner role:

  • A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Registered or eligible for registration.
  • Have a good working knowledge of the relevant legislation.
