Job Title: Behaviour Mentor (Male)Location: Enfield, LondonJob Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a school in Hackney. This role involves supporting students who face challenges with behavior, helping them to develop positive strategies, and promoting a constructive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students exhibiting challenging behavior
- Implement tailored strategies to manage and improve student behavior
- Work closely with the pastoral and SEN teams to ensure consistent support
- Act as a positive male role model, inspiring students to engage positively
- Support teachers in maintaining a productive classroom environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people with challenging behavior, ideally in a school setting
- Strong understanding of behavior management strategies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient in the face of challenges
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
