We are seeking a confident and organized Social Housing Supervisor to join our team. This role requires expertise in managing void properties and familiarity with SR (Schedule of Rates) codes to oversee and streamline repairs and maintenance tasks. As part of our dynamic housing management team, you will be responsible for ensuring properties are turned around quickly and efficiently, minimizing void periods, and preparing homes for new tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee void property management, from inspections to repair completion, ensuring properties are ready for new occupants in a timely manner.
  • Utilize SR codes to manage and allocate responsive and planned repairs across a range of properties.
  • Coordinate multi-trade teams and manage contractors to carry out repair works, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Liaise with tenants and housing officers to manage expectations and provide a smooth transition between occupants.
  • Use housing management software to track progress and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in void property management within the social housing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of SR codes and experience using them for maintenance and repairs.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • Full UK driving license (van and fuel card provided).
