Service Care Solutions is assisting Enfield Council with the recruitment of experienced Youth Justice Officers to join their Youth Justice Service. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals with a strong background in youth justice to be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality interventions and safeguarding services.

About the Role:

As a Youth Justice Officer, you will work within a multi-agency partnership to support young people at risk of offending, ensuring robust safeguarding measures and managing risks to the community. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in youth justice assessments, and the ability to deliver tailored interventions to reduce reoffending.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Write Pre-Sentence Reports (PSR), Referral Order, and Breach reports.
  • Conduct high-quality assessments using AssetPlus.
  • Implement interventions using sequencing methods to reduce reoffending risks.
  • Manage risk of harm to young people and the community.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to monitor practice and enhance service delivery.
  • Occasional weekend and unsocial hours work may be required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years' experience working with children and young people in the Youth Justice System.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management, safeguarding, and intervention strategies.
  • Must have previous experience writing PSRs and case management reports.
  • Candidates previously rejected for insufficient experience should not be resubmitted.
