This company presents a great opportunity for a Senior Developer to join a large and well-established organization that continues to grow and offer training and progression opportunities. Within this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining internal software products, primarily on Microsoft PowerPlatform, to support the operations of the company and its partners.

Main Duties

• Application Development:Design, develop, and maintain PowerApps solutions using the low-code platform.
• Database Design and Management:Create and manage SQL databases, design database schema, and ensure data integrity.
• Data Integration:Integrate various data sources, including SQL databases, SharePoint lists, Excel files, and external APIs.
• Business Logic Implementation:Implement complex business logic within PowerApps using formulas, functions, and expressions.
• Performance Optimization:Optimize performance of solutions and SQL databases for fast response times and efficient resource utilization.
• Security Implementation:Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
• Testing and Debugging:Test PowerApps solutions to identify and fix bugs, ensuring cross-device functionality.
• Documentation and Governance:Document design, implementation, and configuration of PowerApps solutions and SQL databases.
• Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and resolve issues.
• Continuous Learning:Stay updated with the latest developments in PowerApps, SQL, and related technologies.

Main duties

• Proven experience in project management, especially in digital change and transformation projects
• Strong experience with the Microsoft PowerPlatform, SQL, HTML, and DAX
• Demonstrated experience managing projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Experience in the water utilities construction industry or similar related field (desirable)
• Versatile developer with significant MS PowerApps experience
• Dual qualification in software development and civil engineering (desirable)
• Strong understanding of health and safety policies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
