Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and group support
  • Assist the class teacher with daily learning activities
  • Help students feel confident in and out of the classroom
  • Support emotional regulation and social development
  • Be a positive role model and create a safe, engaging environment
