Role Highlights for an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Salary: £80-£100 per day.
- Location: Schools across North London, particularly within the borough of Enfield, including areas like Enfield Town, Edmonton, and Palmers Green.
Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Support students with a variety of special educational needs, including Autism, Social Emotional & Mental Health needs, and Severe Learning Difficulties.
- Work closely with teachers to deliver targeted interventions that help students overcome barriers to learning.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and able to thrive.
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour and supporting students' emotional and social development.
We're Looking For in an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a primary school setting.
- A calm, patient, and caring approach to helping students with additional needs.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both teachers and parents.
