The Role:- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant.
- Salary: £80-£100 per day, based on experience.
- Start Date: Immediate.
- Location: Enfield, North London.
This role involves working closely with a child who has special educational needs to provide tailored support that encourages academic progress, emotional well-being, and social development.
Your Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:- Provide 1:1 support to a pupil, helping them engage with lessons and achieve their targets.
- Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and support the pupil's emotional needs.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to create and adapt learning plans.
- Build a trusting relationship with the pupil to foster confidence and independence.
- Monitor and record progress, sharing updates with the wider team to ensure cohesive support.
- Experience working with children with SEN, such as ASD, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with pupils.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.
- A passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children with additional needs.
