The Role:
  • Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Flexible Working).
  • Salary: £80-£100 per day, based on experience.
  • Location: Enfield, North London.
  • Working Hours: Flexible shifts available - work full-time, part-time, or on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Start Date: Immediate.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work across different schools, supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, SEMH, and other learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN.
  • Adapt learning activities and resources to meet individual needs.
  • Assist with social skills development, behaviour management, and emotional regulation strategies.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to support pupils' learning journeys.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel valued and supported.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or similar role.
  • A patient, understanding, and proactive approach to working with pupils with additional needs.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to adapt to new environments.
  • A passion for inclusive education and supporting children's development.
  • Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, or sensory integration techniques is beneficial but not essential.
