Are you an SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with complex learning needs? Reeson Education is recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN unit within a mainstream primary school in Enfield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in SEN settings, who is eager to work in a structured and well-supported learning environment.

The Role:
  • Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN Unit).
  • Salary: £80-£100 per day, depending on experience.
  • Location: Enfield, North London.
  • Start Date: Immediate.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support children with ASD, speech & language difficulties, and sensory needs, helping them access learning in a way that works for them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support in a specialist SEN unit attached to the main school.
  • Use structured interventions, visual schedules, and sensory activities to help pupils engage.
  • Assist with social skills development and behaviour management strategies.
  • Work alongside teachers, therapists, and the SENCO to deliver personalised learning plans.
  • Foster a calm, structured, and engaging learning environment.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or similar role.
  • An empathetic and patient approach to working with children with SEN.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with speech & language support, sensory strategies, or behaviour management is an advantage.
