Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking to support small groups of pupils with additional learning needs? Reeson Education is working with a thriving primary school in Enfield, seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to work across KS1 and KS2, supporting pupils in small intervention groups.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties, helping them develop confidence and key learning skills.

The Role:
  • Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Small Group Support).
  • Salary: £80-£100 per day, based on experience.
  • Location: Enfield, North London.
  • Start Date: Immediate.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will lead small-group interventions, helping children who require additional support to progress academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support small groups of pupils who need extra help with literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
  • Deliver structured intervention programmes, ensuring all pupils make progress.
  • Work alongside teachers and SENCOs to tailor learning materials to meet the needs of the group.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in a classroom setting.
  • Provide a nurturing and structured learning environment for all pupils.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or Behaviour Mentor.
  • A positive and patient approach to supporting children with additional needs.
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN, particularly ASD, ADHD, and learning delays.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
