Reeson Education is looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil with autism in a fantastic school located in the borough of Enfield, including areas such as Enfield Town, Edmonton, Southgate, and Palmers Green. Role Highlights for an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Daily Rate: £80-£100, based on experience.
- Work Schedule: Full-time position to provide consistent and personalised support.
- Location: A supportive school with a strong focus on SEN, based in Enfield.
Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide tailored 1:1 support for a pupil with autism, adapting approaches to meet their individual needs.
- Assist in implementing the pupil's Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
- Foster the child's social, emotional, and academic development through patient and consistent support.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure the pupil's progress and well-being.
What We're Looking for in an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children with autism or other special educational needs.
- A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting pupils with unique needs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the school team and families.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2/3 in Childcare or SEN-specific training are desirable but not essential.
